Foxglove (Digitalis) are well-known for their bell-shaped flowers, blooming from a single stem. Plant them in rich, moist soil and dead head them in the first year to help them overwinter. You may need to add a stake to support the plant upright.
Foxglove is both rabbit and deer resistant.
Warning: Foxglove is toxic if eaten.
