Gourmet Salad Bowls and Hardy Vegetables

Below are some assorted gourmet lettuce bowls that are almost ready for harvesting! Lettuce is an extremely hardy early vegetable to grow. These bowls can continue growing outside on your patio or deck and only require a little protection if the temperatures suddenly drop to below -5.

You'll find a great selection of early hardy vegetable plants outon table B6 and C6. Choose from Broccoli, Lettuce, Arugula, Mesclun Mix, Kale, Cabbage, Chard, Beets, Cauliflower, Onions, Leeks and Brussel Sprouts.

Hardy Succulents Anyone?

We have a great selection of mixed Hardy Succulent bowls that are beginning to wake up for the season. Choose from 14" and 16" bowls with a mixture ofSempervivum (Hens & Chicks), Delosperma (Ice Plant) and Sedum. These bowls were planted last July and will be overflowing with fresh growth as the warmer weather arrives.
You will find these on table B8right now.

Winter and Spring Colour with Heathers

OurHeather selectionwhich we bring in from aCoastal BC family business,Qualitree Plant Program Specialistshas arrived! You can choose from Erica 'Kraemers Red' and Erica 'Alba'. You will find these on table C18.
Erica darleyensis is one of the easiestHeathersto grow, tolerating almost any soil and requiring little pruning, other than a little trim once they finish blooming to promote more branching. Buds form in late summer or very early fall, some blooming as late as September, often lasting until the following May. The flowers open pale and deepen as the season progresses. They make a stunning addition to your containers or your garden beds.

Early 5.5" Potted Tomatoes

The early planting of Tomatoes in 5.5" pots will be available starting on Friday. These are for the lucky few who have a greenhouse or solarium to grow and get some tasty, fresh homegrown fruits! Our regular production of tomatoes is well underway and will be available in April.

You will find these on table A2 and A3 South.
