Hello Happy Gardeners,
Thank-you to everyone who came by to help us kick off the 2026 gardening season! Seeing so many people excited for a new season was so much fun!
This week we continue with the setup and of course the seeding, propagating, planting and growing are in full gear in the back. Our doors are open every day from 9:30 am to 5 pm, so come in and dream of what your gardens will hold this season.

Choose from our first planting of Pansies and Violas, in every shade imaginable, as well as a good selection of all other great Spring plants like Primulas, Ranunculus, Bellis (English Daisies), Myosotis (Forget-me nots) Pot Carnations, Daffodils, Hyacinth, Crocus and Tulips.

The Bingo word for this week is Pansies! A trailing, mounding cool-season plant that blooms all season and does best in sun to part shade, available on tables D1 to E8.

We have a good selection of early 1 gallon and 6" potted Tomatoes including Super Sweet, Sun Gold, Sugar Rush, Sweet Grape, Fourth of July, Pink Charmer and others. These are for the lucky few who have a greenhouse or solarium to grow and get some tasty, fresh homegrown fruits! You will find this early selection between tables A1 and A2 North. Pepper plants in 6" to 10" pots, can be found on A2 South. Choose from tasty varieties such as Kitchen Minis, Basket of Fire, Thai Hot, Scotch Bonnet, Takara, Yellow Sparkler and more!
Our regular production of Tomatoes, Peppers and other tender vegetables is well underway and will be available by mid April.

A starter selection of hardy vegetables in bedding packs are also now available. An assortment of Lettuce, Kale, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Cabbage, Onions, Chives, and Artichoke can all be found on tables D17 through D20.

For anyone with a nice naturally lit kitchen space, we have a great assortment of early 3.5" herbs such as Rosemary, Mint, Oregano, Thyme, Basil, Sage, Tarragon, Lemon Grass, Cilantro and Parsley available on A4 North.

Our assortment of West Coast Seeds is set up along the front wall of the store section with a large selection of vegetable, herb and flower seeds. We are still proudly offering a great selection of West Coast Seeds, you can check out their company and their commitment to providing great products, tips, and suggestions on their website. We also have a selection of Pacific Northwest Seeds, a proudly Canadian company that only supplies seeds to British Columbia and parts of Alberta.
