We continue to be so thankful for the support and enthusiasm of all the gardeners who have come in to buy Tropicals, Succulents, and early season items or just to walk through our greenhouse and feel Spring approaching!

The potted Daffodils are starting to bloom and many varieties of Primula and Pansies are in full bloom, so it's really starting to feel like the gardening season is starting!

Gourmet Salad Bowls and Hardy Vegetables

Below are some assorted gourmet lettuce bowls that are almost ready for harvesting! Lettuce is an extremely hardy early vegetable to grow. These bowls can continue growing outside on your patio or deck and only require a little protection if the temperatures suddenly drop to below -5.

You'll find a great selection of early hardy vegetable plants out on table D17. Choose from Broccoli, Lettuce, Arugula, Mesclun Mix, Kale, Cabbage, Chard, Beets, Cauliflower, Onions, Leeks and Brussel Sprouts.

Perennial Primula

We have a beautiful selection of double-flowering, perennial Primula! Choose from Nectarine, Valentine, Cream, Pink Ice and Buttercup, all from the Belarina series. These little gems put on an amazing show of colour each Spring with rich double blooms over bright green lettuce-like foliage. In addition, we have Oakleaf Yellow Picotee Primula which is a unique perennial primula with clusters of bright yellow flowers with red edges held above oakleaf green foliage.

You will find these on table C6 and C7 right now.

Belarina Series Perennial Primula

Early 5.5" Potted Tomatoes

The early planting of Tomatoes in 5.5" pots will be available starting on Saturday. These are for the lucky few who have a greenhouse or solarium to grow and get some tasty, fresh homegrown fruits! Our regular production of tomatoes is well underway and will be available in April. You will find these on table A3 South.

We also still have a good selection of early 1 gallon Tomatoes.

Tropical Hibiscus

The Tradewinds series of Hibiscus are absolutely stunning! These boast big, bold flowers in an array of colours over deep, glossy green foliage. We have a selection of 11 different varieties ranging in shades of yellow, orange, pink and red. These tropical beauties love the heat and will do well in a nice sunny window location.

Rex Begonias

Rex Begonias are an excellent addition to any indoor plant collection. The unique and delicate foliage offers an incredible amount of variation. We have been collecting these for years and they never fail to catch our eye. Choose from the always popular Escargot, spiral leafed variety as well as more than 20 others!
