Happy St. Patrick's Day (week)!

Hi there,

In honour of the old Irish holiday why not try growing some Oxalis regnellii- commonly called False Shamrock. It creates a real unique effect with its beautiful dark purple clover-like leaves beneath delicate soft pink flowers.

Beautiful Mixed Planters

Wow! What a great selection of hardy spring planters in Section B. We have been busy planting up a great assortment of frost hardy mixed planters, ranging in size from 8" plastic to 15" fibre pots, as well as colour bowls. These are great as a spring gift, or to add colour and fragrance to your entryway.

Add some vibrant colour to early planters or your garden beds. We have a full table of beautiful blooming Ranunculus on table B5.

SuperTrouper 'Velvet and White' Pot Carnation

Myosotis (Forget Me Nots), Bellis (English Daisies), as well as some delicately blooming Erysimum, commonly called English Wallflower can all be found on table C5. We have three varieties of the Winter series showing great colour right now, Winter Rouge, Winter Orchid, and Winter Sun. These are possibly the largest growing and showiest of the Erysimums.

Early Spring Plant Series

Assorted Hardy Vegetables

Early Vegetables for Outside

You can also start planting early vegetable plants in your garden, after the plants have been properly hardened off. Our hardy vegetable section is set up, on tables D18, D19 and D20, with a good selection of different varieties of Onions, Lettuce, Cabbage, Broccoli, Kale, Swiss Chard and Peas.

Don't forget we have Kelsae and Walla Walla Onion sets and a full selection of Pacific Northwest seeds. Early seed potatoes are also available for pre-season forcing.

We have a very nice selection of early 5.5" potted tomato plants, including the hot house variety: Geronimo. These are great for those people who want something a little larger to grow in their back yard greenhouse or cold frame.

We still have a good selection of 1 gallon plants, and there is also a good availability of starter 4 packs and 4" pots, all located on table B9.
