Our petunia section is fully re-stocked! A great selection of Wave petunias on C7 and C8 will surely fill-in an open spot in the garden with a literal Wave of colour. It's not too late to plant up a late hanging basket or planter with some of these plants already having several flowers on 6-8 inch branches, that continue to grow and branch without pinching.
Trailing Petunias
The Cascadia series on C9 has a great selection of our most popular varieties such as Cascadia 'Indian Summer' and Cascadia 'Rim Magenta'. On C10 some of our more fragrant varieties are still available in 'Ray Purple Vein' and 'Glow White with Red Veins'.
One of the more balanced series in the trailing petunia family is Sanguna, with a complete colour range on C11.
The Sanguna 'White Pearl' is one of the strongest petunias that we grow and is aptly named, with a beautiful, pearly white shine to its flowers.

Double Flowering Petunias
To complete our trailing petunia section is the Double flowering table on C12, with all the Double Wave colours that you may have missed out on earlier in the season. These big, double flowers are very eye catching and come on vigorous trailing wave-like plants.
Sweetunia 'Suzie Storm' Mounding Petunia
Vegetative Mounding Petunias
The Vegetative Mounding Petunia tables are also full now. With the complete Crazytunia series back with bold colours such as 'Red Blues', 'Star-Jublilee', and Black Mamba you are sure to catch some attention at your summer patio parties.
As well, the ever so popular Potunias are back with all their colours on tables C14 and C15.
Rounding out the fully stocked petunias are the Sweetunias. With 'Hot Rod Red' (our best red in summer performance trials), and the unique 'Johnny Flame' and 'Suzie Storm', with unusually bright burgundy and hot pink stars.

Tired of Mosquitoes?
We have noticed an increase in the pesky mosquito population early this season. Perhaps it is time to truly put the 'Citrosa' Geranium to the test! Claimed to keep mosquitoes, black flies, and other biting insects at bay, try planting a few around your outdoor living spaces and let us know if they truly are a 'Mosquito Fighter".

Even if it has no effect, its refreshing citronella scent and attractive foliage will make it worthwhile. There is a good selection of Citrosa Geraniums in 4" pots on table B17, as well as the new scented geranium Lemona.
Other lemon scented plants that are worth trying out are Lemon Grass, Lemon Verbena and Lemon Balm. These can all be found with on table A-16 South alongside other herbs.
Assorted Lettuce
P.S. The Greens are Good for Eating!
We are now eating a mixture of lettuce and kale as well as broccoli from our garden for three weeks! No bugs so far!
And for those of you who missed putting in a vegetable garden, we are now finally fully stocked with tomato, pepper, cucumber and lettuce plants. As well, all cole crops, including kale and broccoli are now in good supply.
This Saturday and Sunday a couple of the Kelowna Master Gardeners will be on site to answer your gardening questions and help you with those tricky spaces. Stop by their table and get some advice or share your gardening excitement!
