This year's contest saw so many amazing photos that the public voting was often very close between them. In fact, the "Best Fall Fair Vegetable" ended in a tie. The Greenery Family was delighted to see hundreds of worthy entries and had a hard time choosing their favourites too!

The Bloom of Perseverance: Special Mention
Tannia's Hardy Hibiscus
We would like to take a moment to give a special mention to Tannia, who submitted this photo of Hardy Hibiscus to us. While it was too late for the contest, we thought her story is inspirational.
She writes,
"I have been battling breast cancer and recently returned home from the hospital. Attached is a photo of my favorite new flower ... Hardy Hibiscus. This bush was a gift from a dear friend to place in my healing garden that my husband created for me at the beginning of the season which is when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. This bush produced over 40 blooms throughout the summer, each the size of my hand!"
