We hope you are able to spend many happy hours in your yards and gardens during the summer enjoying the fruits (and vegetables!) of your labour. :)
Grab the camera!
Don't forget to keep the camera near by and ready to snap plenty of photos to share with us in The 6th Annual Blooming Hall of Fame contest, coming this Autumn.
We are now trialling most of the crops we grow and sell by placing them in our yards, gardens, decks and even throughout our parking lot. This will help us in the planning of our production numbers for 2013. You can help us too! Please let us know what types of plants and specific varieties you are really enjoying this season, and what is performing or producing well for you, by emailing us at flowers@thegreenery.ca

Thank-you for your continued support, and happy gardening!
Learn how to prune tomato plants by removing their suckers (shoots that "suck" the nutrients from the main growth of the plant). Try the Greenery's handy tip on extending the tomato plant's growth height as well!
Harvesting summer vegetables can start as early as July! The Greenery's own garden is boasting radishes, carrots, potatoes, and romaine lettuce, as well as broccoli picked earlier in the season.
