Greetings!

Foliage--not just flowers--can add dazzle to the garden!

Colourful Landscape Coleus
Colourful Landscape Coleus
The final planting of Landscape Coleus varieties are now available on their regular tables.  When people think of landscape plants for adding colour to their yards, prolific bloomers often come to mind right away. But don't forget that some landscape plants make a colourful statement not with flowers, but with foliage.  Our Landscape Coleus is a great example.

Coleus, although it does bloom, is grown as a foliage plant, not for its flower. Traditionally a shade plant, there are now types of Coleus that can be grown in partial sun.

Beautiful Begonias

The Speciality Begonia Boliviensis are finally looking great!  Bonfire, Beaucoup, Bon Bon, Sparkler and Million Kiss series in hanging baskets are all a great choice for the Begonia lovers out there!  These varieties can all take more sun than the regular Begonias, and offer some great colour.  Last year we had great success even on the north-west side of our house.

Vegetable Gardens

We hope you have had a chance to plant your vegetable plants, but if not, we still have an excellent selection of our regular varieties of tender vegetables, including tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers.

There is something very satisfying about being able to go outside and harvest your own fresh vegetables and fruit throughout the summer!

We have finished planting our garden, and will be trialling over 50 varieties of tomatoes this season for production and taste.  Perhaps you will do your own little trials and offer us some feedback on your favourites?

We have also planted all our squashes, melons, and cucumbers.  Our early crops of lettuce and broccoli have been very tasty and are still bug free.
