As seems customary for an Okanagan May long weekend, the temperatures dropped, and we received some much-needed precipitation. It looks like the forecast is getting back on track, and the weather will be perfect for gardening again.
We have plenty to choose from in-store as we continue to bring out the final plantings of vegetables and annuals, including Geraniums, Petunias, basket stuffers and more. Just a reminder that our scheduled closing date is June 23rd this season, so still four more weeks to come in and get what you need!
We have harvested and enjoyed our first crop of Broccoli and are now planting our Tomatoes, Peppers and Zucchinis.

The Cannova Canna Lily series are compact, lush-looking plants that boast radiant spikes of flowers. Green foliage and bronze foliage options reach 3-4 feet in height and provide vibrant colour all season long. Listed as deer resistant, they are perfect in a garden bed as a focal point or planted in containers. Purple Fountain Grass is a versatile, easy-growing, annual clumping grass that stands out on its own or in a combination planting. The bronze-purple foliage is topped with beautiful, graceful, feathery plumes, with the colour intensifying in the late season. This heat-tolerant award winner can reach up to 3 feet tall, is listed as deer resistant and will not disappoint. You will find these on tables N8 and D6.
