The Greenery Garden Centre - Kelowna, BC
The Greenery is a family owned and operated business that is open to the public for the four Spring months each year. For over 25 years we have grown one of the largest selections of garden plants at our Okanagan nursery. In over 2.5 acres of greenhouses we are growing crops all year in preparation for the following season.
This allows us to keep a small full time staff, benefitting our family-type working atmosphere and our community's economy. It is very important to us to grow our own plants right here in the Okanagan. This not only improves plant quality and availability but also saves on long distance trucking. When it comes to cool season varieties and perennials, we are able to adapt them to our local climate during the growing process allowing us to offer a hardened off plant that is better suited for Okanagan Valley conditions.
We offer an abundance of exciting plant choices, including over 19,000 hanging baskets, wallbags & planters, thousands of different annuals, basket stuffers, vegetables, herbs, berries, perennials, and grasses. As well as an extensive collection of garden plants we also aim to provide everything else for your gardening needs.
At The Greenery you will find potting soil, soil amendments, peatmoss, fertilizers, seeds, lawn care, garden supplies, pots, garden tools, and much more.
Besides a vast selection of trusted and traditional as well as new exciting varieties and home grown plant quality, The Greenery also prides itself in its organized layout.
With over an acre of retail space to browse through, wide concrete walkways (wheelchair accessible) and a table set-up that has few changes from season to season, we create an efficient shopping experience. Our showplant system allows customers to view most plants in a mature blooming state making those tough decisions, concerning colour and style, much easier.
With plenty of parking, and friendly, efficient checkout staff we hope to make your shopping experience as enjoyable as possible.
